Komen Siouxland Volunteer Opportunities
Be Involved…Be The Cure™

     The Komen Siouxland Affiliate’s volunteers are planning events to further the mission of eradicating breast cancer as a life threatening disease. The goal of this affiliate is to participate in programs and events in Siouxland that focus on breast health education and awareness, as well as screening and treatment of this disease.

Many events are being planned for 2007-2008. Volunteer opportunities are available in: 
       Events & Fundraising
         Breast Cancer Awareness & Breast Health Education
       Advocacy and Public Policy Programs 
       Grant Programs
       Survivor Programs
       Volunteer & Board Development 

     The Events and Education Committees are currently planning breast cancer awareness, fundraising and survivor events around Siouxland. The Siouxland Affiliate’s service area includes the Iowa counties of Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth and Woodbury, and Union and Clay counties in South Dakota. To better serve the residents of these counties, more volunteers are needed. Check out the Calendar of Events (coming soon!) to see what is scheduled in your area.
