Who are you running for? — Join in the fight against breast cancer by running a full or half marathon through Marathon for the Cure™
Rally for the Cure — Golf, tennis, dinner events and so much more...
Major step in personalized treatment — Thanks to a 2007 research grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, scientists identified a set of 50 genes that oncologists can potentially use to tailor individualized treatments for all breast cancer patients.
Local sponsorship is critical to our being able to support local breast cancer programs and national research grants. Sponsor gifts help underwrite Race expenses and, along with entry fees and donations from Race participants, go directly toward funding breast cancer services and research. When you invest in a Komen Siouxland Race for the Cure® sponsorship, you invest in the lives of the people closest to you... the people of your community... your family, colleagues, neighbors and friends. Up to 75 percent of net funds raised stay in Siouxland to support education, screening and treatment initiatives and a minimum of 25 percent is contributed to the Komen national research efforts. Sponsorship opportunities for the 2010 Race are no longer available. But you can still show your support of the Race by donating and forming a team.
A BIG THANK YOU to our 2010 local sponsors - your generosity will help us achieve record success in moving closer to our goal: ending breast cancer forever!
