6:30    shirt pick up & onsite registration opens

7:00    expo opens

8:00    Kids for the Cure Race

8:30    Welcome Ceremony & Survivor March

9:00    5k & 1 Mile run/walk

10:30  Awards Ceremony

Race course is through downtown Sioux City with the start and finish line outside the Tyson Events Center.

Shirt & Bib Pick Up

·     May 3-4:  Team Captains Only  Captains are to pick up their teams t-shirts and bibs on May 3 and May 4.  These are the only days that teams can pickup their entire teams' shirts and bibs.  Individuals are discouraged from picking up their shirts and bibs on these days.  Pick up will be at the Komen office located at 700 4th St. 6th Floor, Sioux City, Iowa from 10:am to 5:pm.

·     May 5, 6, 7 Individuals will be able to pick up their shirts and bibs.   Pick up will be at the Komen office located at 700 4th St. 6th Floor, Sioux City, Iowa from 10:am to 5:pm.

·      

·     May 8 Pick up will be at the Tyson Events Center box office area from 1:pm to 3:pm.

·      

·     Pick up on Race Day-If you still have not picked up your shirt, please arrive early on Race Day.

T-SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO ALL PARTICIPANTS.  TO ENSURE YOU GET A SHIRT YOUR ARE ENCOURAGED TO PAY THE EXTRA $10 TO HAVE YOUR SHIRT MAILED TO YOU.  DEADLINE FOR MAILING IS MAY 1.

 Prizes & Awards

 Awards will be given to the top three competitive men, women and survivors.

Fundraising awards will be given to the top 10 fundraisers.  With the number one fundraiser wining the Grand Price of an American Airlines ticket.

Team Awards will be given for the following:

·     Most Funds Raised by a Team  (funds must be received by noon May 5)

·     Largest Overall Team as registered by May 1

·     Spirit Award

·     Best Team T-Shirt (must be turned in by 7:30 on Race Day)

Deadlines  

May 1             Team Member registrations close

                        T-shirt/bib mailing deadline

 May 5            All pledges and donations must be received at the Komen office by noon.

 May 8            Competitive runners must be registered by noon.

 May 9            7:30 am  Team T-shirts must be turned in for the best shirt contest

 June 15        Race Video Contest entries due
