Where your donations go!

Up to 75 percent of the funds you fundraise or give remain here in Siouxland  to cover every step of the breast health journey – from education, outreach, mammograms and diagnostics, to surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and material and financial support like meals, mortgage payments, child care, prosthetics and wigs.  The remaining 25 percent of each dollar donated funds national research to discover the causes of breast cancer and, ultimately, its cures.  In fact, next to the U.S. government, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the largest funder of breast cancer research in the world.
On behalf of the patients and survivors who will benefit all year because of your efforts, thank you.   Thank you for making a difference in their lives and in the lives of future generations.

Fundraising is easy with online fundraising tools! When you registered for the Race you automatically received your own fundraising website which can be personalized. Start now by logging in, and encouraging everyone you know to visit your site, see what you are doing in the fight against breast cancer and make a donation on your behalf. Up to 75 percent of net proceeds generated by the Affiliate stays right here in the local community! The remaining income goes to the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure Grants Program to fund research.

Every dollar makes an impact – thank you for everything you do!

Fundraising Awards will be given to the top 10 people who raise the most money!!

To be eligible all donations must be received at the Komen office by May 31.  Leaders will be announced on Race Day.  The top fundraiser will be awarded a round trip airline ticket to anywhere in the continental United States from American Airlines.
