Thank you for your interest in the Komen Affiliate grants program. Please complete the form below to receive information about the Komen Affiliate grant program, including announcements, Request for Application (RFA) information and networking event information. To be eligible to apply for a Komen Community-Based Grant, your organization must meet all eligibility qualification requirements located on the Request for Application:
• Institutions must be US non-profit organizations located in or providing services to one or more of the following locations:
o Woodbury County, Iowa
o Plymouth County, Iowa
o Sioux County, Iowa
o Lyon County, Iowa
o Union County, South Dakota
o Dakota County, Nebraska
o Thurston County, Nebraska
• Applications will be accepted for any breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support project in the listed counties. However, projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the Community Profile will be given priority. All requests for science research funding should be directed to the Komen Foundation’s Award and Research Grant Program. More information on research funding is available at www.komen.org/grants
• Applicants must ensure that all past and current Komen-funded grants or awards are up-to-date and in compliance with Komen requirements. Project must be specific to breast health and/or breast cancer.
2010 Grant Writing Workshop
The 2010 Komen Siouxland Grant Writing Workshop will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center. The workshop will be free, however, registration is required. Click here for registration form.
Registration will begin at 9:30 am
Workshop Session will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
Workshop topics will include priorities identified by the community profile, eligibility, request for application and review process.
Join the Siouxland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® for a FREE workshop to learn about the Siouxland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen For The Cure® community grants program. More than $580,225 in community grants has been distributed in the past five years to organizations across Siouxland. Grants are awarded to innovative breast health and breast cancer programs focusing on early detection, screening, treatment, education, and survivorship.

For those who are not able to participate in the Grant Writing Workshop, Community Grant and Small Grant applications are available online at www.komensiouxland.org.
