Pender hosts first Pink Stagette
In March 2014 the Pender Hospital in conjunction with the Pink Prevention Partners Saving Lives hosted the first annual Pink Stagette. As with all great events for women, arriving attendees were greeted with a myriad of vendors, a t-shirt, and pink (shopping) bag. The vendors ranged from home accessories to clothing, with many pink items.
After a little shopping therapy, dinner was served. Three local breast cancer survivors provided the program for the event. Jenna Rehnstrom, serving as MC, introduced each survivor, Kim Lyons-Weiland, Paula Mitchell Pflueger, and Mandi Flood and after speaking they took questions. The evening concluded with door prizes.
